Situated alongside the River Severn in the heart of Wales, St Giles Golf Club is home to a nine-hole, 6012-yard parkland style course. Originally founded in 1895, the club spent the first 13 years of its life at the Bryn on the outskirts of the market town of Newtown, before moving to its current location in 1908. Today, the course uses the natural contours of the land to provide a challenging golfing experience, rising and falling towards the River Severn, which borders the course and comes into play on three holes.
